Booths donate to The Prince’s Countryside Fund every year, to support their fantastic work in supporting rural communities and farms. Rural communities and farms play a huge role at Booths, as we rely on them for fantastic local produce.

Our vision is of a confident, robust and sustainable agricultural and rural community which is universally appreciated for its vital contribution to our British way of life and fit to support future generations.

We are passionate about the countryside. Established by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2010, The Prince’s Countryside Fund exists to improve the prospects of family farm businesses and the quality of rural life. Through our partnerships and events such as National Countryside Week we celebrate and promote the value of the countryside.

In support of National Countryside Week 2019, we’re offering the chance for selected customers to visit some of our local producers and enjoy a guided tour between 29th July and 2nd August. It’s your chance to see behind the scenes of how our produce is grown or made. For your chance to attend, just enter your details into the form below to be placed into the draw. Your entry is for two places.

Please note that winners will be featured in promotional activity on Booths social media channels and the promoter reserves the right to use the names of winners, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity. If you do not consent to this, please do not enter the competition. You will be responsible for your own travel arrangements to and from the venues. The Venues:

  • Monday 29th July, 10am (14 places): Dewlay Cheesemakers
    Garstang By-Pass Rd, Garstang, Preston PR3 0PR
    Tour the cheese making rooms and sample the range. Disabled facilities available and wheelchair accessible.
  • Tuesday 30th July, 11am & 2pm: Booths Tea & Coffee Tour
    Booths Central Offices, Longridge, Preston PR2 5BX
    Visit Booths HQ to see how our coffee and tea are created and enjoy a tasting of the range. We apologise, but there are no disabled facilities available and the site is not wheelchair friendly.
  • Wednesday 31st July, 10am: Wensleydale Cheesemakers
    Wensleydale Creamery, Gayle Ln, Hawes, Wensleydale DL8 3RN
    Enjoy a tour of the creamery and tastings of their wide range. Disabled facilities available and wheelchair accessible.
  • Thursday 1st August, 11am: Wharfe Valley Farm Oils
    Wharfe Valley Farms, Collingham, LS22 5BA
    Join third generation farmers the Kilby family for a tour and to enjoy a tasting of flavoured oils and vinegars.
  • Thursday 1st August, 3pm: Strawberries at Spilman’s
    Church Farm, Sessay, Thirsk, Yorkshire YO7 3NB
    Guests will have a tour of the farm, be spoken to about the different variation of strawberries grown and will be able to pick their own strawberries. We apologise, but there are no disabled facilities available and the site is not wheelchair friendly.
  • Friday 2nd August 10am (6 places): Salt Marsh Lamb
    Plumpton Cottage Farm, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 7SH
    Join Will Case, the fourth generation of his family to farm at Plumpton Cottage Farm, for a unique insight into the world of rearing seasonal saltmarsh lamb. We apologise, but there are no disabled facilities available and the site is not wheelchair friendly.
  • Friday 2nd August 3pm (10 places): Cuckoo Gin
    Sandy Lane, Holmes Farm, Brindle, Lancashire PR6 8LZ
    Join us for a tour of the distillery and gin tasting. 18+ guests only.
