Grown in the mineral-rich volcanic soil surrounding Mount Etna in Sicily, Tarocco oranges have a delicate red blush and high levels of vitamin C. They’re easy to peel, soft and juicy, and have a distinctive perfume and flavour. They make very special, sweet juice which adds fragrance to buck’s fizz or orange granita, and are delicious poached in a simple sugar syrup to serve with rich chocolate desserts.
