The English tomato season is a glorious excuse to try different home-grown varieties in salads, sauces and soups, or just sliced and sprinkled with a few flakes of sea salt. At the peak of the season we aim to offer only English tomatoes, and whether they’re cherry or plum, on or off the vine, organic or conventional, many of them are grown locally and some exclusively for us. Pick up some crusty bread and your favourite Lancashire cheese and you’ve got lunch.
