Ingredients

  • 100ml Tanqueray gin 0%
  • 2 blood oranges, juice only
  • 100ml sugar syrup
  • 500g ice
  • 100ml 0% prosecco
  • 2 slices blood orange

Instructions

Method

  1. Place the gin, blood orange juice, sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
  2. Shake for 30 seconds and pour into two tall cocktail glasses full of ice.
  3. Top with 0% prosecco and garnish each glass with a slice of blood orange.

Chef’s Tip:

To make homemade sugar syrup, place 500ml of water, 500g caster sugar and juice of 1 lemon in a heavy bottomed pan and bring to the boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the 4 spent blood orange halves once they’ve been squeezed. Allow to cool then remove the oranges.
