Blood Orange Gin Fizz Mocktail
Ingredients
- 100ml Tanqueray gin 0%
- 2 blood oranges, juice only
- 100ml sugar syrup
- 500g ice
- 100ml 0% prosecco
- 2 slices blood orange
Instructions
Method
- Place the gin, blood orange juice, sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
- Shake for 30 seconds and pour into two tall cocktail glasses full of ice.
- Top with 0% prosecco and garnish each glass with a slice of blood orange.
Chef’s Tip:
To make homemade sugar syrup, place 500ml of water, 500g caster sugar and juice of 1 lemon in a heavy bottomed pan and bring to the boil for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the 4 spent blood orange halves once they’ve been squeezed. Allow to cool then remove the oranges.
