Bon Bons Confectionery

Founded in 2007 by the Great Grandson of Joseph Rowntree, Bon Bons truly has sweets in its blood.

Based in the Yorkshire market town of Wetherby, Bon Bons is part of the Lanchester Wine Group. Their aim is to make confectionery fun, exciting and irresistible.

Bon Bons are passionate about all things sweet and have an extensive range of products from fruity gummy bears to nostalgic Pear Drops- there is something sweet for everyone!

The key ingredient to the business is the people and many of their colleagues have been with Bon Bons from the beginning. From a dedicated army of confectionery packers to the people making sweets, the whole team work hard to make Bon Bons extraordinary.

After being acquired by the Lanchester Group in 2017, the business has gone from strength to strength with an aim to become an environmentally sustainable company. With an ambition to be Carbon Neutral by 2035, Bon Bons have already made sustainable changes, investing over £1million into adaptations such solar panels on the roof of their head office which generate c80,000kWh (kilowatt hours) per year. They also have a Bio Mass boiler, energy saving lighting and an array of electric and hybrid vehicles to use. Sustainability is a huge part of the business and to convey their commitment, Bon Bons have created a brochure (printed on FSCC approved board) to outline all the work completed to date.

Bon Bons have many achievements and most recently been voted third in the Fine Food Digests Annual “Best Brands” survey for Chocolate and Confectionery! We are delighted to have their sweet treats on our shelves and wish them all the success for the future.
