NEW Elizabeth Harper’s Sticky Toffee Buns

Over 150 employees from Booths stores, offices and manufacturing sites dug out their mixing bowls and spoons to compete in ‘The Booths Bake Off ’ to be in with a chance of supplying the shelves of Booths stores. The company-wide search crowned Elizabeth Harper (Booths Licensed Specialist, Ripon) the winner with her delicious sticky toffee buns.

Along with her product on sale Elizabeth has been able to nominate a charity which is close to her heart to receive a 10% donation from the sale of each pack of sticky toffee buns. Having lost her 18 year old brother to leukaemia, Elizabeth explains her inspiration for entering the Great Booths Bake Off; “When I heard about the Bake Off competition for Booths employees, I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. When I baked my first batch of sticky toffee buns, I didn’t expect for a minute I’d be seeing them on the shelves at Booths, but I hope that the proceeds will help to fund valuable research into this disease that affects so many families.”
