All of Booths fresh meat is 100% British. In order to ensure a humane slaughter all animals are stunned prior to slaughter first. Booths lamb receives a Halal blessing after stunning and before slaughter, and is therefore Halal. We do not currently label it as Halal.

Our seasonal Saltmarsh and Herdwick Lamb, which is sold on our butchery counters is not Halal Blessed. More details on these regional breeds can be found on our website.

Booths beef, pork and chicken does not receive a Halal blessing and therefore is not Halal.
