Burns Night Whisky Tastings & Ginuary Gin Tastings

In celebration of Burns Night and Ginuary

This January, in partnership with our amazing suppliers, we hosted a selection of gin tastings and whisky tastings in four of your stores. Customers had the opportunity to enjoy tutored tastings of a selection of premium spirits, hosted by the skilled distillers who produce them.

On The Night

Our suppliers took guests on a journey with each providing information about the samples, tasting tips, distilling process and company history. Customer favourites from the Burns Night whisky tasting were The Cheshire Whisky and Speyburn, and proving popular at the gin tasting were Cuckoo Signature Gin and Lytham Zesty Orange gin. The spirits tastings were accompanied by a handpicked charcuterie board, including cheese and cold cuts specifically selected to complement the drinks. The night ended with a sweet treat of Monty Bojangles Choccy Scoffy & Flutter Scotch truffles and each guest left with a goody bag containing a variety of treats such as branded glassware, Pipers Crisps, and Walker’s Shortbread.

These events were the perfect antidote to any January blues, with a relaxed atmosphere, the chance the meet and greet producers of the spirits our customers enjoy, plus the chance to try something new!
