Gazebo Cuisine Curries Launch at The Delicatessen

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Gazebo Cuisine Curry Bar at the Delicatessen counter in selected Booths stores!

After a successful trial at your Penwortham store, we’re delighted to launch Curry Bars at your Burscough, St Annes, Ilkley, Knutsford and Garstang stores.

Gazebo and Booths

Our customers love meal solutions, both in our fridges and on our fresh counters. We’ve worked with Gazebo for many years and in conversations with them on improving our fresh counter ranges to make them even better, they approached us with their authentic curry bar range.

After many tasting panels with Gazebo, our product developers and buying team, we now have a wide menu of hand-crafted, authentic Indian curries, sides and snacks. Where customers can personalise their meal with a choice of dishes and take advantage of our meal deal which includes 1 main, 1 side and 2 snacks for £6.

Who Are Gazebo?

Founder, Tanoj Shah has always had a passion for cooking. Since being at university, he would cook tasty, authentic, heritage dishes for his friends which, unbeknown to him at the time, would become a key inspiration in founding Gazebo Fine Foods.

After graduating and struggling to find a suitable job, Tanoj began to explore other opportunities available to him and found a government funded scheme encouraging entrepreneurship. Tanoj entered and his business idea came to life in no time.

Starting out from his kitchen table, Tanoj began supplying his range of products to high end wine bars, cafes and shops in London. Growing steadily, the business quickly moved to a small production unit, where he was then approached about creating traditional Indian and Oriental snacks and Gazebo has flourished ever since.

Now employing over 100 people, Gazebo are known for innovation and quality. Many of the products Gazebo produce for Booths are still handmade with recipes developed by his sister Susmita and chefs Waseem and Devang.

After months of hard work alongside the Booths team, we are thrilled that the Curry Bars are now in 6 stores.  We are proud of the products we have developed exclusively for Booths which we lovingly hand-craft in the UK. The trial and subsequent launches have been positively received by colleagues and customers alike.
