Adrian Smith is the managing director of Blue Cooling Ltd, which provides refrigeration services to Booths. He is married and has two grown-up children and two grandchildren.

How did you get into cycling – any tips for beginners?

I only started on the road last year when I did the L2P 2023 ride, my one tip for anyone thinking of having a go just do and get out there!

Trek bars

What’s the one piece of kit that you need for a long ride?

Thick shorts!
